Style Star to Watch: Orange is the New Black’s Taylor Schilling

To say that everyone here at Glamour is obsessed with Orange is the New Black would be a huge understatement. Over at Obsessed, Megan gave you a glimpse of what the cast looks like out of their heinous jumpsuits, but I think it’s time we seriously concentrate on OITNB star, Taylor Schilling’s, red carpet outfit choices. She’s one to watch!

At the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 2013 installation luncheon Schilling brought a pop of color to the event in a coral Roksanda Ilincic minidress, pairing it with neon-pink Sophia Webster sandals. A blue Edie Parker clutch finished the bold outfit.

She popped by the Bravo Clubhouse for an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in a blue dress that absolutely popped against her skin. The cut showed off her toned arms and long legs.

Before she struck Netflix gold, Schilling co-starred in The Lucky One with Zac Efron. For the London premiere of the film the actress chose a multi-colored Peter Pilotto dress. Black and clear pumps ensured all eyes remained glue to her stand-out frock.

For the LA premiere of The Lucky One, the Fordham graduate went with a Calvin Klein black halter-neck gown with a sterling silver neckline and open back. Smokey eye makeup and a refined updo made for a subtle but sexy look.

At a Coach benefit in LA, Schilling looked every bit the California girl in a printed green strapless dress and nude heels. She spiced up the ensemble even further with a Coach cherry red clutch.

In true Hollywood form, Schilling proved she can rock a body-con dress with the best of them in this black long-sleeve number. Small, strategically-placed sheer panels add interest to the LBD.

She switched up her style for a hit on the Today Show, choosing a ladylike purple and black dress and minimal jewelry. Black patent leather pumps were a safe and smart shoe choice.
