Plastic Footwear by Melissa and Zaha Hadid

In 2008,   Zaha Hadid joined the ranks of architect-dabblers by announcing her foray into shoe design.

Now Brazilian footwear company Melissa partnered with Zaha Hadid, allowing the visionary architect to explore her designs in a whole new medium. “The fluidity of our design combined perfectly with the technology of Melissa’s plastic, injecting pieces without closures or seals” says Hadid.
