First Vogue Fashion Fund in India

Designers Aneeth Arora, a NIFT and NID graduate committed to sustainable fashion, and Payal Pratap Singh, wife of known fashion designer Rajesh Pratap Singh, have won the first Vogue Fashion Fund in India. The participants had to conceptualize a 3 garment capsule collection and present a business plan that would justify their winning the Vogue Fashion Fund 2012. “It is a proud moment for me. It justifies my faith in Indian fashion. Both Aneeth and Payal have been my favourite. Payal will even be opening the upcoming edition of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week in October. As for Aneeth, she is a big hope to take India on the international market with her Indian handlooms,” says FDCI president Sunil Sethi, who was one of the jury members.
