Influence, A solo show by Irie Takahito

Arebyte Gallery presented Irie Takahito’s first ever solo show in the UK, Influence. This exhibition, a series of photographs of bodypainted models forms part of his H/U/M/A/N M/A/C/H/I/N/E project: an exploration of the increasingly incestuous relationship between man and machine. The project has been shown previously in Seoul, Beijing, Tokyo and Weimar, Germany. Takahito is a multidisciplinary artist working in myriad of mediums including photography, video, digital illustration, performance and istallation.  The artist is from Hiroshima in Japan and has lived in Tokyo (Japan), Beijing (China), and Seoul (South Korea).
