Chalayan for Vionnet

Vionnet has tapped the British/Turkish Cypriot designer Hussein Chalayan to design the brand’s Demi-couture line. “I am extremely happy and honored to create Vionnet’s Demi-Couture collection” Chalayan said to Vogue.

vionnet_0x440“I think that Hussein is a super-talented, forward-thinking designer. He is a true artist, very conceptual; he thinks out of the box” said Vionnet chairman and creative director Goga Ashkenazi. “It’s an honour for me to work with someone I admire so much. I am sure he will add something special to the Vionnet Demi-Couture collection”.

His first collection will be unveiled in Paris in January, during the Couture Fashion Week.
