You may have already heard that Kate Middleton, Prince William, and little baby George will be jetting on over to Australia and New Zealand on Monday for a whirlwind official royal visit. (What will she wear?!)
While Prince George will be sporting adorable high street duds from Baby Gap for his first official tour, according to Grazia, Kate is upping her wardrobe ante with a very fancy gown created by one of Beyoncé’s favorite designers Ralph & Russo.
You may recognize the work of the London-based Aussie duo by this custom pearl accented boysuit that Queen Bey wore on her Mrs. Carter tour. Ralph & Russo’s designs are a favorite of top earning celebrities, thanks in part to red carpet-ready shape and detail (see: Angelina Jolie in futuristic white), but also Forbes list-only high price points. Grazia reports that the couture label’s cocktail dresses start around $80,000 each.
If you remember, rumor has it that the Queen—Elizabeth, not Beyoncé—is pressuring Kate to swap her usual high street for high-end for the upcoming trip. (And the Duchess has been wearing the Queen’s jewelry lately.) Although, considering that longer hemlines are part of the reported makeover package, we can assume that Kate’s new dress won’t look anything like Mrs. Carter’s bodysuit.
