And day two of the Cannes Film Festival concluded with another slew of glamorous dresses ranging from cocktail chic to sublimely elaborate gowns. I can’t wait for another nine days of this fabulousness! But let’s enjoy the impressive looks along the way with the best of day two, right here:
In a follow-up to her rule-breaking Prada ensemble at the Met Gala, Lupita Nyong’o opted for minimal and futuristic in this strapless blue Calvin Klein dress at the Women in Film celebration.
Julianne Moore showed off the second custom Louis Vuitton gown spotted at the festival. (Adele Exarchopoulos wore a strappy, leather-topped confection at the opening ceremony.)
Speaking of the French actress (and youngest ever to be honored with the Palme d’Or)… she stunned in this intricately beautiful Valentino Couture gown from the spring 2014 collection. Oscar winner Cate Blanchett presented her with the annual Trophée Chopard. Mazel!
And we must discuss the Style Icon, who looked glorious as usual in a gray and embroidered collar Valentino pre-fall 2014 gown. Gorgeous.
Blake Lively continued to dazzle in an iridescent Chanel Couture spring 2014 gown and matching wrap but worn with white pumps instead of fancy sneakers.
This week’s Style Icon and Rosemary’s Baby star Zoe Saldana nailed it again on the red carpet, this time in a slinky Jason Wu shawl-collar gown.
