Kerry Washington, Regina Hall, and Other Best Dressed From the BET Awards—Who Was Your Favorite?

The red carpet at last night’s BET Awards had crisp white, bold colors, and, most important, Kerry Washington. There was no shortage of steamy dresses showing a whole lot of skin, so the ones that stood out the most were the elegant, stylish pieces that wouldn’t make you blush should Grandma show up. So who stuck out the most beside (spoiler alert) Kerry?

Lil Mama! I was a big Lipgloss fan (true story: I still know all the words) and was so happy to see her looking gorgeous in this sculpted orange mini.

One of the most elegant white dresses was from Amber Rose, whose long-sleeve style was cinched with a gold metal belt.

The sweet white Jason Wu dress on English actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw is way more casual than Amber’s. If you topped it with a blazer, you could easily make it work at the office. She kept her jewels low-key too, wearing diamond studs and a midi ring from Phyne by Paige Novick.

Kerry Washington was one of the few who didn’t get the white memo, instead picking this bright, cheerful floral dress from Dolce and Gabbana.

OK, I’m one of those Housewives-obsessed girls, but even if you’ve never watched a single episode, we can all agree that Kenya Moore looked elegant in this long tangerine dress.

Proving you don’t need a cocktail dress to look sexy, Regina Hall did the white trend in a two-piece Chagoury Coutur outfit. My favorite part? That she paired the sexy blazer-sans-shirt look with a pair of comfy trousers that are, essentially, sweatpants.

Sleek and simple, the hot pink dress on actress Jennifer Freeman is girly and sexy but also has an athletic vibe (in short, it’s the sort of dress we see Blake Lively in a lot).
