It never fails to amaze me that an entire group of fashion-loving celebs have the energy to turn around after the Oscars and put on a new dress for another red carpet—it’s seriously impressive. Some of the best dressed from this year’s afterparties also landed themselves on our top list from the ceremony itself and others are completely new faces.
One of those newbies was Karlie Kloss who looked stunning in sultry black Atelier Versace. Those fab pumps are Gianvito Rossi.
Solange nearly had a style repeat from her wedding in this high-necked Naeem Khan (totally fine with me since everything about her ceremony was gorgeous).
Emma Stone made it on our big list and did again here in this loose red Altuzarra number that looked ready for a dance floor.
Lupita Nyong’o’s nude shift dress was way less dramatic than the pearl Calvin Klein beauty she wore earlier in the night, but no less beautiful.
So, Zoe Saldana’s dress pick for the ceremony didn’t wow me, but this black and white belted beauty? Totally different story.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was another member of the supermodel brigade who looked smashing in dark emerald sequins with thick bands across the back. The dress is Alexandre Vauthier haute couture.
Lily Collins sauced it up in this black pick that featured a whole lot of coverage, but still plenty of sizzle thanks to the use of sheer fabric.
Brand new it-girl Gigi Hadid must have turned a zillion heads in this sexy cutout number by Atelier Versace.
And, duh, Sofia Vergara could turn heads on, like, Mars. We’ve seen her in a lot of red and silver lately and I love how fresh this dusty blue feels.
Brooklyn Decker had a true princess moment in this elegantly simple Katie Ermilio ballgown. Her shoes are by Stuart Weitzman, her clutch is Anya Hindmarch, and her jewelry is Monique Pean and Anita Ko.
Beyonce picked snow white like sister Solange and the dress might be the simplest we’ve ever seen her.
Okay, I love Keira Knightley’s Valentino couture! It was one of my please-wear-this picks prior to the Oscars and I prefer its simplicity over the style she wore to he show.
Prints are risky on a red carpet, but when they’re good, they’re SO good. How sweet is Rashida Jones in this poppy floral by Andrew Gn? Her shoes are by Stuart Weitzman.
Rita Ora had her fair share of fashion moments last night, walking the carpet in a stunning gown and performing in another. This jaw-dropper from Donna Karan Atelier adds to the list.
