Milan Fashion Week has officially ended, and a little bit of reflecting has led me to a kind of inconceivable conclusion: I wouldn’t mind a few more months of winter if I got to steal some of fall 2015’s just-walked-the-runway coats. Ummm, they’re so good! When I woke up this morning, pulled on snow boots, and sunk through a solid six inches of powder while walking my dog, I never would’ve thought anything could have me hoping winter sticks around, but I guess the fashion universe just wanted to send a reminder to never say never.

The statement coat was just taken to a whole new level with this awesome tapestry-esque piece from No. 21.
It was hard to pick just one standout from the Marni show, but I think this one was my favorite. Boxy toppers, mostly in camel, were sent out one by one, each made unique by a different spot of fur.
Heavy on volume and looking very warm was this Fendi logo parka, modeled by one Miss Kendall Jenner.
Alberta Ferretti offered up a bronzed coat fit for a princess. Attention, Kate Middleton: Consider placing an order!
Versace might call to mind images of super-sexy party dresses, but prepare to welcome chic calf-length coats into the fold too.
