I started off my morning with a side of beauty, watching a live-stream of the Valentino fall 2015 fashion show from my couch, coffee cup in hand. I had a hunch there would be a whole bunch of beautiful dresses, and was I ever right. Oh, and there was also an appearance from Zoolander and Hansel. NBD. Now, back to dresses.
An entire section of black and white opened the show, and this two-tone pick has me craving stripes for evening.
Light-as-air black lace had all the femininity typically associated with its white counterpart, plus an extra dash of toughness.
All black is forever chic, but the super-bright pops on this beauty caught my eye immediately.
Color- and print-blocking had a big moment in styles that touched the floor and hung to the knees. I preferred it short myself since the longer versions felt a touch busy.
Tiered ruffles made this golden pick stand out.
The whimsy of the spring 2015 collection carried through with oversize butterflies.
And those are lions on this gown! And birds!
After all the fairy-tale forest creatures, the show ended with palate-cleansing black and white. The open geometric neckline of this pick is especially screaming Kim Kardashian, no?
