Michelle Obama visited England this week to promote the project “Let Girls Learn”. The project is an initiative of the American government to leverage investments in global education of girls, so they can complete their studies.
During the passage of the First Lady in London what drew attention was the simplicity of Mrs. Obama, honoring local designers choosing “Looks” of British designers for important events.
The first choice was a yellow dress with blue lace, signed by Preen, label of Thornton Bregazzi, used to land in the country. The second “look” was by designer Mary Katrantzou, a printed clothing that she chose to visit a school and have tea with Prince Harry, and the third was a piece by designer Christopher Kane, that she used to meet Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha.
Undoubtedly, Michelle Obama is a wonderful showcase for any new designer!
