The stylist Alexander Wang is no longer in the creative direction of Balenciaga but does not mean that he will retire from the fashion world, quite the contrary. Wang has just opened on the last day August 1 his first flagship in Europe.
The store is located on Albemarle Street in London, a four-story space with 625 m2 all in gray and black, developed in partnership with the architect Vincent Van Duysen. In the building we can find all the products of all lines by Alexander Wang from the Ready-to-wear to lifestyle.
“I always knew that London would be the first city in which I would open a flagship in Europe. It is our broader market [on the mainland] and one of my favorite cities,” said the stylist for Vogue UK.
Besides the new store the stylist has plenty of reasons to celebrate, he is in negotiations with the company General Atlantic, which according to WWD, will be the new investor of the brand.
