DSQUARED2 opened their doors last December, in the cities of Amsterdam and Rotterdam, but Amsterdam will soon welcome a new store this June.

Netherlands is sort of like a little treasure chest with artistic and architectural gems, but also where space is left for contemporary art, avant-garde design and fashion. This is the reason that we have decided to open two stores in this country, especially in two creative and innovative cities like Amsterdam and Rotterdam

– Dean & Dan

Dean & Dan Caten

Dsquared2’s philosophy is an edgy mix of Canadian iconography, refined Italian tailoring and playful sensuality. The collections are a seamless melding of contrasts: sporty and glamorous, laidback and extravagant, masculine and feminine, creating a distinctive concept of alternative luxury. Recently the Dsquared2 collections have gained a sophisticated edge while maintaining the sexiness embedded in the brand’s DNA.

Dean and Dan Caten divide their lives between Milan and London, and the Dsquared2 collections are produced in Italy, giving rise to the brand’s motto of “Born in Canada, Living in London, Made in Italy”.

InAmsterdam, the store is divided on 3 floors; the entrance and the large window are a visual statement. The store has iconic items of the Dsquared2 collection, in the basement you can find denim, swimwear and underwear, on the ground floor is mens clothing including the Classic Collection, a line of Italian tailored suits and tuxedos. Last but not least, on the first floor is women’s clothing and a capsule collection of cocktail and evening dresses.

The Rotterdam boutique reflects a bold, contemporary and unexpected concept. It has all the Dsquared2 collections of men’s, women’s, accessories, perfumes, eyewear and underwear and is on two floors and 189 square meters.

Both stores are definitely worth checking out – you can find the Amsterdam store on the PC Hooftstraat Amsterdam and in Rotterdam, on the lijnbaan.
