While Fashion Week is in full swing, OMEGA officially opened her doors of the ‘Her Time’ exhibition at the historic Hôtel de Sully in Paris. The opening event in the French capital celebrated the history of the beautiful ladies watches of the OMEGA brand over the years. An additional highlight for the invitees was that Cindy Crawford was present, along with her children Kaia and Presley, who from now on belong to the OMEGA family as the newest ambassadors.
Paris, September 29, 2017 – While Fashion Week is in full swing, OMEGA officially opened her doors of the ‘Her Time’ exhibition in the historic Hôtel de Sully in Paris. The opening event in the French capital celebrated the history of the beautiful ladies watches of the OMEGA brand over the years. An additional highlight for the invitees was that Cindy Crawford was present, along with her children Kaia and Presley, who from now on belong to the OMEGA family as the newest ambassadors.
Since 1995, Cindy Crawford is one of OMEGA’s best friends and for more than 20 years she is a trusted person in both ads and events. At the opening of the Paris exhibition, Cindy made a spectacular appearance, together with OMEGA’s CEO Raynald Aeschlimann.
“The OMEGA women watches are among the most beautiful designs in our history. There is a lot of variety in watches and I am very proud to open this exhibition in Paris, one of the fashion capitals in the world. And it’s also an honor to be here with Cindy and her family. “Thus Mr. Aeschlimann.
After being exhibited in Milan, Moscow, Shanghai and Sydney, the ‘Her Time’ exhibition in Paris now tells the revolution of OMEGA’s ladies watches and changing styles. From the early Lèpine pendants and the iconic Ladymatic, to the jewelry that houses a hidden watch and the last creations of this time. The watches are also complemented with vintage art and classic OMEGA ads that show women in their variety of lifestyle and fashion over the years.
While Cindy and Mr. Aeschlimann discusses the most famous OMEGA watches, two other special guests are called the stage: Kaia and Presley Gerber.
It was Cindy herself who introduced her children and welcomed them as OMEGA’s newest ambassadors. She said: “My history with OMEGA is great and I’m sure Kaia and Presley are just enjoying working with the brand. They are both talented in their own way and I am so proud that they become the new ambassadors for these beautiful watches. ”
Mr. Aeschlimann added: “Kaia and Presley represent the next generation of watchmen. They look good, motivated, inspiring and full of energy. It’s great to have such a passionate family tradition within our brand and we are very excited to work with these two young people. ”
In honor of the announcement, a special portrait of the whole family has been revealed. The portrait was made at Malibu beach in California by renowned photographer Peter Lindbergh and is the first official photo of the whole family together: Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber and Kaia and Presley Gerber.
MC of the evening during the ‘Her Time’ was the French actress Pauline Lefevre. Among the attendees were the international fashion models Joan Smalls and Martha Hunt. But also Thai actress Praya Lundberg, actress Cinta Keihl, fashion designer Nathalie Rykiel, actress Emma de Caunes, influencer Betty Autier, columnist Mademoiselle Agnès and actor Gwendoline Hamon.
After admiring the exhibition, guests could enjoy an exclusive performance by German DJ Robin Schultz; OMEGA friend and Speedmaster fan. He brought the evening to an energetic end with a guest performance by singer Richard Judge.
The ‘Her Time’ exhibition can be viewed from the 9th to the 19th of October from 9.00 to 19.00 in Hôtel de Sully, Paris.
