To celebrate the first Vivienne Westwood store opening in New York; Vivienne Westwood, Andreas Kronthaler & Juergen Teller hosted an exhibition of the images they have created over the last 20 years, turning the six story French Beaux-Arts building into a gallery space, and party. At the party were a cast of club kids; straight, gay, trans, models & actors- who became the subject for the latest Vivienne Westwood Spring/Summer 2018 Campaign.
“They all looked so great! So- we decided we wanted to shoot them all for the campaign. We wanted to shoot them in the exhibition space at the top of our store- it seemed natural. And of course, we wanted to shoot them in their city in their natural environment, in New York.We really loved Chloe (Sevigny) for the campaign- I met her at our exhibition and she looked so great- she’s so lovely and looks really good in our clothes!

I like New York. With everything that’s going on there politically, it feels charged, like there is a new energy. People seem to be really standing-up!”
