What You Will Be Wearing This Fall, as Worn This Summer at Glastonbury by Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, and Alexa Chung

Ah, Glastonbury. It’s the Coachella of the U.K., with an impressive rotation of hot artists—from the Rolling Stones to Solange to Vampire Weekend—and, of course, an attendance list full of stylish London girls in their finest festival gear. But the big difference: the weather. It’s England, so June is COLD and RAINY. The ladies were bundled up in that skilled layering look that It Brits do best, giving us a sneak peek at what to look forward to come fall—while we’re still melting in the summer heat.

Shearling moto-jackets: The legendary Kate Moss basically made Hunter boots a household name after she wore hers to Glasto class of ’05. This year, she took time out of her busy schedule to brave the grounds in skinny heeled black leather boots and a très chic shearling-lined moto-jacket that I’m eyeing for fall. (Seriously, how cold is it over there?)

Heavy-knit printed blazers: The always interesting Sienna Miller mixed prints and textures with shiny two-toned shorts, but the blazer would be a cute and easy layering piece over a dress or jeans too. Plus, it could double as a jacket on those slightly chilly fall nights.

Floral pants aren’t going anywhere: Yay! Solange paired hers with a matching batwing high-low top with a sheer back. (At first I thought the back was some sort of genius haute couture poncho.)

Snapbacks are the new beanie: As if Cara Delevingne would ever have a bad hair day, but these caps are a cool way to hide a low-maintenance styling routine. Loving how she went with prints too!

Backpacks are back!: If this isn’t a sign that the ’90s are back in full force, I don’t know what is. But I’m kind of glad—two straps are more convenient than one and plush leather designs, like Alexa Chung’s, are just as chic as a handbags.

Cape and sweater combo: Sienna played with layers by throwing a fringed and polka-dotted red cape over a nubby green sweater and a black-and-white-striped tee—and somehow avoided looking too Christmas-y. The inventive layering would be perfect for one of those unpredictable fall days.

Which Glastonbury look do you like best? And how hot is Kate Moss? Seriously.
