The Prettiest Dresses, Boldest Handbags, and More Looks to See From London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week is almost over and it completely feels like it went by in a flash (in no small part to Tom Ford’s L.A. show and, oh, some small thing called the Oscars claiming parts of our collective attention span). There are a few things we’d be remiss not to talk about though; as such, they’re all collected here.

Burberry did the same sort of artsy boho vibe it gave us for spring, and, my, but it was good. I’ve been nursing a very recent obsession with all things camel-color, suede, and fringe, so this trench coat was a home run and a half.

Christopher Kane used nude drawings in the most elegant way ever, resulting in pieces like this ladylike dress. Look closely and you’ll realize those lines are the curves of a woman’s body, bare nipples and all.

Emilia Wickstead turned out a few outfits I could totally see Kate Middleton rocking, albeit with some tailored alterations. The bleached cornflower color of this tweed two-piece is striking, and I could easily see it on the Duchess next season.

Erdem did feminine, floral gowns to perfection and threw in a few standouts that didn’t quite jibe with the rest. Note I’m not saying that as a bad thing: This strong purple leather dress, accented with laser cutouts, was like nothing else, and I loved.

The Giles show included Kendall Jenner, again. The model walked in the show nearly a full year ago and was back at it again, showing off the dark, high-necked collection.

Mary Katrantzou had kind of amazing coats, completely in need of a close-up inspection. Go ahead, get your eyes close to your computer screen. The intimate glare is required to realize that her runway pieces were accented with curved pieces of plastic and nubby pyramids. Plus, that runway flooring!

The fun at Anya Hindmarch continues with clutches, totes, and clothes printed with the cheeky sort of universal symbols seen on road signs everywhere. There’s nothing better than having a little fun with fashion, amiright?
