Once again, Kate Middleton, is bound to set off a new fashion trend. Today, the Duchess of Cambridge attended the traditional Christmas Day church service on the Sandringham estate, alongside Prince William (sadly, no sighting of Prince George or Princess Charlotte!) wearing a forest green wool coat, with perfectly matching forest green accessories. She finished off the look with black over-the-knee suede boots and knit gloves in black for a sophisticated look. Check it out:
The Duchess wore an asymmetrical cloche in the color of the day, adding diamond drop earrings, as well as a diamond and pearl brooch with oak leaves and acorns (motifs from the Middleton family’s coat of arms).
She cleverly paired the midlength coat with a coordinating crocodile belt, enhancing her waist and giving it even more polish.
In the modern way that seemingly only Kate can, she makes the posh look relatable to non-royals (eh hem, us), by tossing on over-the-knee boots (the boots of the season!) and basic knit gloves in black, for a patrician look that’s bound to inspire for years to come.
