This Shoe Trend Is Actually Good for Your Feet

New York Fashion Week is on. To kick off the month of shows—after New York, we have London, Milan, and Paris, of course—we rounded up our favorite spring shoes with heels of mid height. Because: (a) they are everywhere this season (from Gucci to Michael Kors to Tory Burch), much to our delight; (b) the thought of running around New York (or anywhere for that matter) just in really tall shoes is not a happy one; and c) the opposite of sky-high heels—flats—can actually be bad for your feet. Did you know?

The new mid-height heels are not granny-ish. They are cool, and colorful. So we thought they deserved a fun treatment. Keep scrolling to see our candy-inspired GIFs (and happy Valentine’s Day!), plus more of our top picks for spring’s sweetest shoes.

Try a pair, or two. Cold? Add some cute socks. Your feet will thank you.
