Uniqlo is no stranger to gotta-have-it collabs, featuring capsule collections with Theory, Suno, and Ines de la Fressange. But I’m calling this the coolest yet, especially considering it’s all about the graphic T-shirt right now. Starting today, you can score 200 items spotlighting works by Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Jackson Pollock, and other toasts of the gallery world.
It’s dubbed SPRZ NY (“Surprise NY”), and the Museum of Modern Art got in on the action for the canvas-worthy cotton shirts, bandannas, jackets, and totes—all under 50 bucks. Plus, Uniqlo’s rolled out the red carpet for the art-star garb by glamming up its entire second floor of the chain’s flagship on Fifth Avenue. Oh, and did I mention the new Starbucks “Experience” cafe sits right beside all the finery? The nook will come in clutch for when you’d like to muse over the meanings of your new swag. And I don’t know about you, but I have a feeling I’m rolling out of there with lots of it.
Check out what I’m lusting after here, and shop all the artsy goodness on the site.
