This week marked the launch of Jillian Michael’s first-ever activewear, released as a part of Kmart’s new srategy to revitalize their health and wellness segment. The line named “Impact” features four categories of sports clothing and accessories: core training, running, yoga, and lifestyle – whatever gets you going, Jillian is determined to help you embrace your sport spirit to the fullest. And while you are sweating out everything you feel guilty for, you don’t have to put your commitment to fashion on hold. “I drew inspiration from every fitness category and trend out there, so no matter who you are and what you’re doing, you will feel empowered while wearing the collection,” she said.
Michaels, known for her demanding attitude that helped “The Biggest Loser”s contestants work their way to losing great deals of weight, has always been a great fit-spiration for many. America’s toughest personal trainer and a TV personality is known to push her fans towards their fitness goals with her “tough-talk” encouragement. The fitness mentor accepts no whining and offers no comfort – except for when it comes to her activewear line. The color-enfused bras, tanks, zip-ups enjoy “moisture-wicking and quick-drying properties, flat-lock stitching, reflective details, and quality fabric blends for enhanced comfort and breathability”. But whatever the press-release reads, one thing is undoubtable: this workout attire certainly comes with empowering “can-do” attitude.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Jillian, one of the foremost authorities in wellness and fitness. Jillian has infused her personal style and enthusiasm for empowering women into the collection, allowing us to offer true performance and style at an affordable price. We believe her engagement across our Shop Your Way platform will resonate authentically with our members,” said Diane Vaccaro, the chief marketing officer for Kmart Apparel, of their collaboration.
In case you still have some excuses for not exercising, the prices for the product line are also encouraging, as they stay Kmart-low, ranging from $10.99 to $36.99. That means, in words of Jillian, “Unless you faint, die, or puke, keep working!”
