The Emmys just gave the end of summer a nice booster shot of glamour and there’s more following it up—gorgeous gowns from the Venice Film Festival. It’s a time to shine for both big-name stars like Emma Stone and ladies I’m not as used to seeing on the carpet. And, honestly, when it comes to stellar formal wear, anyone can win.
After seeing this Valentino Couture ball gown on Emma Stone, I think deep forest green might be my all-time favorite color on redheads.
Alessandra Ambrosio looked flawless in strapless red that was cut high enough to show off a pair of classic black pumps. That sparkly necklace was the perfect finishing touch.
A smattering of frilly flowers across the chest of Liya Kebede’s Alberta Ferretti gown made the noir shade fit for a princess.
Blame it on the light blue, but the floaty gown Italian model Sveva Alviti picked had me thinking of a modern-day Cinderella.
And one of the very few prints I saw on the carpet belonged to Bianca Balti, another Italian model, whose Empire-waist Dolce & Gabbana pick featured bold red blooms.
