Fashion News to Know: Couture for Ballerinas, Sunglasses From a Girls Girl

Before you head off for the holiday weekend, I’ve got some fashion news I have to share. Pay attention: There are some fresh holiday gift ideas within you might want to suggest when your extended fam starts asking what you’d like this year.

#1. Zosia Mamet’s teamed up with Cynthia Rowley on a pair of Miss Z sunnies for the designer’s Rowley Eyewear resort collection. Zosia wanted a retro movie-star vibe, Cynthia picked the colors, and the resulting style retails for $109. To any of my friends and family reading, I love these and you can buy them here.

#2. H&M would like to outfit your next ski trip, affordably, with its just-released line of active winter wear. Prices range from $10 to $99, and pieces aren’t a joke: water-repellant, waterproof, and windproof fabrics are all being used, as well as others that feature micro fleece lining and Thinsulate padding. Shop here.

#3. Clare Vivier, she of the classic-cool bags that won’t completely wreck your bank account, has partnered with denim-obsessed site Jean Stories on a range of accessories done in, obv, denim. From weekender to T-shirt to an especially awesome clutch dotted with bleach spots, you can shop everything here.

#4. Zuhair Murad is a master of sexy red carpet moments (he was responsible for Julianne Hough’s fab number from the AMAs this week), but he’s turned his attention to a more sylph-like creature this holiday season. For Harrods’ holiday windows, he’s crafted a ballerina’s costume out of silk, tulle, feathers, and Swarovski crystals (she spins as if in a music box to perfectly show it all of). It might be a tad impossible to actually dance in, but who really cares when it’s that gorgeous?

#5. For the first time ever, Victoria Beckham is diving into leopard. Some of her classic accessories are being done in the bold print and are available to shop right now, right here, in case you’re looking to throw a luxe item on your wishlist this holiday.
