In Honor of Mr. Scott at Pitti Immagine Uomo 88

Jeremy Scott = WOW! The countdown to Pitti Immagine Uomo 88 is ticking away, and this year, Moschino will be the guest menswear designer at the event. If you have seen the latest kick of bright pink motorcycle jackets and Barbie themed accessories, you can attribute that all to the creative genius that is Jeremy Scott. While his pop art design aesthetic has been a constant theme within the fashion scene for a while now, his most recent post as Creative Director at Moschino has brought on a whole new wave of acclaim. The Missouri native was once accused early on in his career of designing clothes that were too outlandish for every-‐day women to wear. Those critics no doubt have changed their minds about what women will wear, especially to make a great statement.

What makes this particular event so special is that Pitti Immagine Uomo88 will be home of the first Moschino runway show featuring menswear in Italy since Jeremy Scott arrived at the famed fashion house. Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine is a fan of Jeremy Scott and how he has captured the true spirit of the house of Moschino. His collection of over exaggerated pieces will surely stun all attendees of the show, as it will be a dramatic and smile-‐worthy spectacle to see.
